Born in Mesagne (BR) in 1983, he has lived in Bologna since 2002. Graduated in piano at the “G. Verdi “in Ravenna (2007), graduated in DAMS-Music of the University of Bologna (2009) with a thesis in Musical Pedagogy (The musical laboratory as a didactic strategy for deutero-learning), qualified to teach the piano at the Conservatory” G . Frescobaldi “in Ferrara (2010), graduated in Music Disciplines of the University of Bologna (2012) with a thesis in Musical Paleography (The Antiphonary-Gradual of the” Alfredo Calabrese “Private Library – Campi Salentina – LE), Graduated in Management Orchestra (2020) at the “G. Verdi “in Milan where he studied with the Masters Vittorio Parisi (Conducting) and Marco Munari (Reading the Score, Collaborator Master at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan), he attended Masterclasses and Conducting Workshops in Italy and in Europe to deepen the symphonic and operatic repertoire. He was didactic coordinator and member of the Board of Directors of the Association “Le Muse e il Tempo – Training Center, Research and Didactics of Music” (2006-2012, Bologna) and was a consultant as assistant archivist for the reorganization and cataloging of the musical materials of the Mozart Orchestra (2013-2014, Bologna) under the artistic direction of Claudio Abbado. He carries out an intense concert activity as a pianist in chamber music ensembles, as a collaborator of opera choirs and as a choir and orchestra director. He is a piano teacher in the I.C. Granarolo dell’Emilia, organist in the parish of Saints Bartolomeo and Gaetano in Bologna and director of the choir of the “L’Arengo” Cultural Center in Bologna. He is a teacher of Score Reading in AERCO Academy courses and is a member of the AERCO Executive Council and Provincial Delegate for the province of Bologna (Associazione Emiliano Romagnola COri). Since 2022 he has been the Director of the Youth Choir of Emilia-Romagna, a transversal and at the same time unique project in the panorama of Emilia-Romagna as it welcomes young choristers from all over Emilia-Romagna who are already part of choirs associated with AERCO who feel the need to enrich their choral experience by sharing with other young people the study and expansion of the repertoire with a view to personal and group growth.
